Hi, I’m Jeff 👋
Born in Provo, I grew up as the oldest of seven kids, moving 13 times by age 13. My dad worked multiple hourly jobs, and my mom was dedicated full-time at home. Those early years, filled with small apartments and tight budgets, taught me empathy and resilience. Frequent camping trips on a shoestring budget ignited my love for nature.

Public service runs in my family—my grandmother managed early campaigns for John McCain and traveled nationwide teaching the Constitution to high school students. Her dedication profoundly shaped my commitment to community and service.
Serving a mission in Africa deepened my belief that most people share more similarities than differences; what truly divides us is our access to opportunities.
Professionally, I've had the chance to cut costs and drive efficiency at Fortune 500 companies and state governments at McKinsey & Co. and lead at Utah tech companies and early-stage startups. These experiences taught me humility, curiosity, and the importance of staying reality-based and open to learning from everyone.
I've served organizations including Utah Valley Refugees, chairing the Provo Planning Commission, the committee that helped draft the Provo's Canyon and Foothill plan. I'm a Precinct Chair, representing our community multiple times as a State and County delegate. Most importantly, I’m a husband and father of three beautiful children.
A few of my favorite spots in District 2 are Slate Canyon, 7 Peaks Ice Arena, Bicenntenial Park, and Como en Ecuador.
